being a Krispy Kreme person since i moved here i tried Lamars the one on 99th and Holmes and the one on Main and Linwood, Lamars was a local big deal and on the saturdays i was stuck doing overtime in office there was always a box of glazed. okay but glazed really isnt my FAVORITE. over time i went and thought thier chocolate covered fluff filled bars were excellent but its really large and to give myself a pass on having all the time. not such a great choice for breakfast. i stopped in a couple saturdays ago at this very clean great parking location at College and Antioch and noticed CAKE DONUTS. i'd saw them before i think i've bought one or two but i forgot how much i really loved them, cake donuts with chocolate and sprinkles with cherry icing and sprinkles chocolate icing with coconut cherry donuts and it was instant craving. reminded me of going to get donuts with my family on sundays and my favorite they have cinnamon sugar and regular sugar cake donuts they were so good and totally tasted like the donuts Gramma used to make from scratch and fry for us so yea Lamars thanks for the years you put here in town and DONT stop making the cinamon sugar cake donuts for crying out loud!
